About
Established in November 2012, Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Co., Ltd. is a 50:50 independent joint venture formed between Chinese auto manufacturer Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. and UK auto manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover.
CJLR Senior Managers were on their development journey to:
- Enhance Business Result through Development
- Create Opportunities for Participants to Practice Skills
- Start to Build Learning Culture for the Organization
- Ensure the connectivity with Senior Leaders throughout the Development Journey
- Build Stronger Network among Participants
The CJLR Senior Manager development journey in particular was not set up as a ‘traditional’ management development program but aimed at maintaining a very close connection to CJLR’s core value and business opportunities in China, hence including internal management presentations adjacent to business projects, as well as relevant coaching and peer learnings.

"I did not expect such a positive effect of remote training. I didn’t feel that this form of meeting hindered us or was an obstacle in the implementation of the training. Super."

“The programme has been tailored the way that we were able to check its effectiveness.
The results of the review confirmed that the number of managers who present strategic and developing styles increased by over 20%. Moreover, the programme had a very positive impact on the inter-departmental / cross-functional cooperation, which is very important in such a large and diverse company as Polpharma."
