Impact co-hosted the United Nations Global Compact Roadshow 2019, co-designing and delivering interactive workshops, a sell-out conference and an ongoing digital community, all with the aim of making the shift from raising awareness to stimulating practical business action.
To create a series of interactive events that would support organisations in developing a better understanding of how they can take action on the Global Goals.
The Global Goals Roadshow 2019 consisted of eight workshops, designed to stimulate practical business action through a series of interactive activities and discussions; a flagship full day conference in London for 300 people, featuring corporate sustainability leaders and distinguished speakers such as Lise Kingo, CEO of the UN Global Compact; and the creation of a growing collaborative digital community on Impact’s learning app, air™.
The 2019 roadshows' were a great success. While the previous years' events focused on raising awareness, the 2019 editions stimulated practical business action on the SDGs in the UK. 630 people attended the workshops and 100% of them who filled out the survey said that they valued their experience.
“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Impact throughout the whole roadshow. Their creativity and level of professionalism are beyond what I ever expected” - Steve Kenzie, Executive Director, UN Global Compact Network UK
