Learning at scale: a strategic differentiator

A spectrum of learning solutions

At Impact we know there isn’t a single answer. Learning at scale exists on a spectrum. But the dynamic range of options on this spectrum give us the freedom to co-create something truly custom that fits every client’s needs, objectives and constraints. 

At one end of this spectrum, we work face-to-face with groups of participants. This live, in-person work is then increasingly blended with virtual elements the further along the spectrum you travel, enabling learning to happen in different timezones, locations, and with more and more people.  

At the far end, we have fully virtual solutions. Still custom designed, these solutions happen asynchronously and are led by the participant themselves, empowering them to own their learning journey. This type of solution can be rolled out at pace and at scale, amplifying learning and action across every level, function and region.   

This is the space we work in: designing experiential learning across the spectrum, always led by the learning need, the human experience, and the business outcome - not by format or technology.

What does a fully virtual Impact solution look like?  

A fully virtual, self-led Impact solution isn’t just about rolling out the same content and approach to more and more people. It’s not about simply taking what we do in-person and doing it online instead. And it’s definitely not about vast content libraries and multiple choice quizzes.  

Digital learning solutions are still, first and foremostly, about achieving personal and organisational change through powerful experiential learning. Our work is always going to be about human experience and engaging the learner emotionally as well as cognitively. And fully virtual solutions utilise technology to deliver this, combining a purposeful blend of real-world business projects, AI coaching, peer learning, powerful reflection, innovation challenges and more.  

These solutions: 

  • Are about learning in the flow of work – Customised learning materials and real-world experiences inspire action in everyday life, seamlessly integrating learning and work, and delivering powerful results. 
  • Do not mean lots of screen time – We encourage people to learn away from their screens, through tasks and activities that bring different people together in a variety of scenarios and propel them towards action. 
  • Leverage the power of social learning and community – Through peer learning activities and small circle groups, participants embark on the learning journey together, forming communities of learners accountable to each other and fostering a thriving culture of learning and collaboration. 
  • Inspire a continuous learning mindset – The solution may end, but there’s no endpoint to the learning journey. We empower participants to learn and to keep learning in every day and every situation, leading to a more agile, committed and engaged workforce.   
  • Are accessible and adaptable – With the ability to flex to different languages, cultures, timezones and more, we create an inclusive learning journey where everyone can thrive.
