Creating realistic and carefully targeted goals will help to improve your team’s performance. Since every team’s performance challenges are unique, Impact start by identifying where your team needs to invest its development effort before we work with you to create a bespoke development programme.

To do this, we have created a diagnostic tool called the TPI (Team Performance Inventory) based on Impact’s Team Performance model.

The TPI is an online assessment completed by all team members in which multiple questions relating to each performance domain are rated and commented on. The TPI report provides a detailed analysis of the collective team assessment of the six performance domains.

The 6 domains of team performance

• External Alignment - the team's understanding of internal and external stakeholder expectations and needs.

• Unified Purpose - the collective understanding of why the team exists and what it intends to accomplish.

• Agreed Approach - team alignment around the way in which the team’s work is done.

• Quality Conversations - collective trust in the capabilities and competencies of team members. The team's ability to leverage diversity of thought and manage conflict.

• Effective Relationships - the respect, emotional trust, and psychological safety that exists on the team.

• High-Performance Mindset - the commitment required to continuously evolve and improve as a team while developing the individual skills of team members.
