I started my career at a global automobile parts manufacturing company, where I got interested in people development. Currently I am enjoying my journey at Impact, improving my knowledge and skills, to find the best solutions for our clients. I enjoy travelling both in Japan and overseas. I like reading books and staying indoors, but also enjoy scuba diving and going outside to see friends and new experiences.

I have been supporting people in communication for 20 years. Initially as a consultant, currently as a trainer, coach, mediator. I am passionate about people and the complexity of human nature and like to help tame this complexity for a specific purpose. I have a lot of joy, sense of meaning and the impression that I am making the world a better place.

Sum myself up in a paragraph? There’s a challenge! And maybe a good starting point. I like challenge. I like the challenge of grabbing attention with interesting, useful and relevant marketing. From a new website or re-brand to a sell-out festival, for me it’s all about customer first. I like a physical challenge too, and the challenge of how long I can last without listening to music!

Being a reliable partner of our clients in their development challenges, mixing my reflexivity, sensitivity and good spirits, is what I strive for. I put a lot of energy intuition next to my “human touch” in everything I do. Singing, playing the piano, and social dancing are my lifeblood. I adore exploring the world getting surprised by the beauty of diversity.

Working as a planner at Creative and Marketing Department since 2019. Before Impact, my career was mainly on the position of sales and marketing at the bank and advertising agency. My focus is on the capacity building for both individual and team. Virtual team building is one of the fatal themes because I am working as a full remote member. I love traveling around the world with my backpack and enjoying beautiful local delicacies!

At 21 I had my first day of work at Impact in the stores... I am still making up for everything that happened that week. My passion is in sports coaching and development. My journey with Impact has taken me traveling around the world where I continue to meet and work with many amazing people. I am a big family man, and love surrounding myself with the best of company. If I am not herding terrifying highland cattle, I’ll be playing rugby or baking sponge cakes.

I manage equipment, projects and vehicles at our HQ. I have a certificate of competence in the inspection of personal protective equipment for adventure activities, level 3 qualification in transport managers professional competence and IOSH managing safely certificate. My sense of humour helps me to cope with a job which is at best dull. Playing guitar with the infamous Impact band "you get what you pay for" is simultaneously the moment I'm most and least proud of.

My job is managing financial issues: reports, financial simulations, payments, also preparing contracts for clients, associates, employees and much much more… from coordinating travel arrangements to organising internal meetings and workshops. I love working with Impact people – I’ve worked here since 2003 and have no plans to move! I’m crazy about my small bit of land near the river and forests where I travel almost every weekend with my family and friends.

Since joining Impact in 1999 life became very interesting for me! I am meeting fascinating people every day, I am privileged to peek into their daily challenges and successes. Executive teams, line managers, and employees - I love to have a full picture, and inspire them to make their lives easier, less stressful, more productive or simply more fun! I couldn’t ask for a better job.

I consult with our valued customers to understand their business aspirations and challenges, before recommending a learning and development solution that is going to meet, and exceed their needs. I maintain close relationships to ensure they receive the best possible service. I work across all market sectors and levels, however I'm particularly passionate about graduate development. Out of work, you’ll find me up a mountain attached to either a rope of a pair of ski’s.

Rachael Garner
After living in France and working in the ski industry for 13 years, I decided to move back to the UK, with no real plan. I love running, although I’m not very fast, and love the outdoors. While trying to figure out what my next step would be I came across Impact, and I have been lucky enough to join the team as a Programme Coordinator. I am looking forward to the challenge of learning something new and being part of the Impact family.

Leading the US finance department includes guiding my team, considering new ways for increased financial success, keeping the team financially informed and ensuring accurate reporting. I have a business/accounting degree and 15+ years experience as a CPA. I see myself as a finance skilled business partner rather than an accountant. I love spectator sports, food, wine, whisky, binge watching TV, travel, wood burning open fires and being outside in the fresh air.

Gavin Shaw
With over 20 years in L&D and consulting, I love my role at Impact! I build relationships with potential clients, educate them on our offerings, and connect them to our talented team to build outstanding development experiences for their leaders. Relationships feed my joy, so spending time with family and friends traveling, hiking, sharing a meal and a laugh, that’s my bag.

As a Designer I am focussed on using Impact's experiential learning methodologies to create solutions which enable and sustain behaviour change. At Impact I manage projects, build relationships with clients, organize events and support our super team by sharing motivation, creativity and a smile. At work and in private life, I pay attention to details, I value directness and minimalism. I am looking for inner peace through contact with nature, cinema and new hobbies. And good food.

I’ve been working at Impact for over 30 years and now advise on Safety. It’s a demanding job, but Impact also allows me time to have my own adventures. I am a qualified International mountain guide and run yearly expeditions to East Greenland. These experiences give me a healthy dose of “on the edge” experiences, helping me to sharpen my skills and foster a common sense approach to safety matters. There's always something different to give advice on.
Phil Poole
Customer Service and relationship management are my main focus and passion in all that I do. I enjoy thinking through solutions and working with my clients and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes. Out of work, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and exploring the Yorkshire Dales and baking the odd cake or two.

Fiona Sheen
I manage all Impact Italia accounting processes and love precision, tramezzini (look it up!) and silly jokes. I am also very appreciated for my former athletics experiences and I provide stretching sessions to all colleagues who need to exercise a bit after a long day in the office. I deal with a lot of internal and external stakeholders to make sure everything is ok with our clients, accounts, invoices and bills!
Francesca Filzi
I am responsible for the accounting tasks. I have always loved working with numbers and after receiving my bachelor degree in accounting at ACU ( Australian Catholic University), I fell into something that I actually enjoy. I consider myself very organised with an excellent work ethic and with desire to constantly improve. I am originally from Brazil and love the beaches and tropical weather.
