I am a program manager and I love that every day is different, from working on different tasks involved to make a program run smoothly to talking and meeting clients. I come from a hospitality background so I love the client facing aspect of my role here at Impact, as well as making sure every piece of the program is on schedule. Outside of work I am always doing something like teaching dance, travelling, and going to the beach!
I love the Lake District, working with people and my role as an account manager. I build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships and ensure successful solution delivery, specific to the individual needs of my range of clients. I endeavour to always exceed expectations and go the extra mile in all aspects of my life. Outside of work I love travel, food and rugby - which I can normally combine for a perfect weekend away!
I look after clients from tender, right through to evaluation. Three of my four main clients are global, so it’s about managing time differences too. I am the 'go to' person for many other things as I've worked here since 1991. I'm open, honest and always have an opinion! Questions usually start with “you will know...” I like nothing more that being up a hill in the Lake District or French Alps and camping in Cornwall with family and friends.
I was lucky enough to join as the third member of the US team in 2006 and have done almost every role in the business including design, delivery, sales support, project management and even bookkeeping! That breadth of experience has helped me in my current leadership role, it allows me to understand the business from multiple perspectives and focus on operational excellence. My nickname is Wiki because I can usually help find the answer!
Wendy Lee Berger
I am devoted to applying theory, practical application and innovation to people development. As a lead designer and facilitator with 10+ years experience I deliver custom client solutions globally, from graduates to senior leaders, virtually or f2f. My insatiable curiosity stays satisfied by reading, research and exploring the world. I love the culinary arts and although I enjoy cooking, my passion is simply being the consumer of freshly made delectable dishes.
Manuel (Manny) Larenas
I am all about meaningful relationships. I’m good at detail but love the big picture. Business strategy excites me and implementation more so! My role is to head up our digital strategy and take Impact’s experiential face to face practice in to the digital world, strengthening our blended programme work and building digital solutions that serve our clients’ needs in these times of exponential change. I’m a daughter, sister, aunty, wife and mum.
After several years in the digital marketing industry I was keen to utilise my management skills and develop our in-house fully-integrated digital marketing agency, Zinco. Outside of work I’m a crafty creative but will quite happily swap cosy fireside afternoons for long, sunny walks with my trusty Labrador Saffy.
As a consultant, organisational psychologist, account manager and researcher…I endeavour to encompass all the different aspects of life in the organisation! To me the organization is a magic happening between individuals, groups and their work contexts. I deal with the entire consulting process: from the proposal development, to the client management, intervention delivery and evaluation process. I love the countryside, baking cakes & capoeira!
Over 10 years of experience in retail industry, I experienced various roles, managing some stores as a store manager, executing retail strategies as a retail manager, and an internal trainer in the organizational change project, planning, making, delivering the programs to the managers and staffs. I am very much interested in “people change” so very happy to work at Impact to build my career as a professional of people and organizational consultant.
My enthusiasm for life is ignited when surrounded by inspiring people and growing through exploration. Born in Canada, my passions have led me to travel within various countries. I joined Impact motivated by their commitment to empowering people and business cultures to thrive while making a positive difference.
I am responsible for the accounting tasks. I have always loved working with numbers and after receiving my bachelor degree in accounting at ACU ( Australian Catholic University), I fell into something that I actually enjoy. I consider myself very organised with an excellent work ethic and with desire to constantly improve. I am originally from Brazil and love the beaches and tropical weather.
Passionate about creating organisations worth working for and developing strong interpersonal relationships, I am responsible for Australia’s business operations and marketing measures. With lunchbreaks at the beach and team runs through the national park, I am very grateful to be part of such an inspiring team and thriving culture.
After living in France and working in the ski industry for 13 years, I decided to move back to the UK, with no real plan. I love running, although I’m not very fast, and love the outdoors. While trying to figure out what my next step would be I came across Impact, and I have been lucky enough to join the team as a Programme Coordinator. I am looking forward to the challenge of learning something new and being part of the Impact family.
My role is to curate our knowledge and understanding of how individuals and organisations learn to help our clients confidently choose us. I have an eclectic mix of cross sector leadership experience at CEO/MD and other levels alongside think-tank research and group facilitation skills. I am well known for going off on one despite years of meditation and aikido and can intentionally overuse the word ‘love’.
Here at Impact I have the pleasure of managing a portfolio of impressive global programmes and a number of our key clients. I like to simplify the complex, gain clarity where there is ambiguity and drive efficiency and quality through my project teams. I love meeting different people and understanding what makes them tick! I'm full of energy, constantly smiling and always ready for the next adventure.
Curiosity and culture have influenced my life since I was a kid and dug a hole in our yard attempting to arrive in China for dinner! I am passionate about connecting people and their purpose to experiences, and partnering with organisations that are on the journey of transformation. I love yoga, scuba diving, travel, and volunteering my skills in local and global communities.
I am responsible for our support team and coordinating the Warsaw office. I project manage, which includes monitoring facilitation, communicating with partners, background logistics and managing course equipment for our fantastic experiential projects. Since joining in 2005 my role has developed through office manager and H&S advisor. I love what I do and the people I work with. Personally, I am getting to know my young son and understand his world.
Developing the potential in people and organisation is my passion – it’s not my job! I love what I do and have the good fortune to work in Poland as an ex-pat British person and have been embraced into and fully embrace the wonder of Poland and the Polish people. Sharne Van Der Burgh
As a Sales Professional with extensive knowledge of account business development and client relationship management, my passion lies in building great relationships with clients and really getting to know them in order to create customised solutions that help them to achieve their goals. Outside of work you can find me in the gym, or walking the beautiful Lake District fells with my camera in tow.
An important element of my role is entering awards for Impact and for the inspirational work we do with our clients. I also write and edit content for our weekly newsletter, 'In Good Company'. I have many years of Impact experience as well as a professional marketing qualification. I care a lot about the work I do, the people I work with and the environment around me. I love being outdoors, I love living in the Lakes and feel lucky to be bringing my family up here.
After several leadership positions in social enterprise, non-profit and retail, I recently fulfilled my ambition to work for one of my favourite world changing companies. Relocating from London to the Lakes has been a big step but the stunning landscape and numerous outdoor pursuits has meant I haven’t stopped exploring lakes, land and sea and I’m never short of a challenge. I use my experience and background in psychology to create organisations worth working for.
I rely on both my unbridled curiosity and appetite for knowledge and exploration in my pursuit for continuous improvement. As an ambassador of the Impact brand, I harness this mindset to work effectively with my colleagues to increase our brand awareness and build mindshare in the marketplace. In my spare time, you can find me in the mountains skiing, hiking, and fly fishing with my wife and hound dog.
My first Impact memory is watching managers rope-jump off bridges whilst helping out in my 1991 school holiday. My adventure continues as a part of the Americas Leadership Team leading our Consulting Services function. Clients say my style is 100% engaging and that I bring rooms to life with my passion, energy and can do attitude. I love helping others make a difference in the world, and am a passionate cyclist, runner and Dad to my two young boys.

I’m an enthusiastic leader, successful in liaising across all levels, handling confidential information and managing multiple priorities.
