About

Impact partnered with Hilton Worldwide to create two dynamic programs that leverage creative behavioral simulations and practical skills to build an ‘executive presence’ for high potentials and high performers.

Hilton Worldwide wanted these programs to develop their executives’ ability to lead effectively in the hospitality industry’s ever-changing business environment.

These strategically anchored programs needed to develop:

  • Mindsets and behaviors around executive presence
  • Confidence to influence in high-change environments
  • Authentic leadership skills.

Impact created two Executive Presence programs that engaged participants though a series of behavioral simulations that increased their capabilities utilising real-life, high pressure situations. Participants were required to collaborate and address real business challenges, while practicing the creation and delivery of critical leadership messages.

The results were outstanding, with all key metrics scoring greater than 4.5 out of 5. This program was also awarded the 2015 CLO Learning in Practice Award for Excellence in Gaming and Simulations.

"18 months into the graduate leadership development programme, and I can truly say it has been such a great experience. The activities we have undertaken have ranged from learning presentation skills, understanding your impact in a team, to having a lot of fun along the way with challenging activities, such as white water rafting and rock climbing. The external training we are fortunate enough to receive, as well as on-the-job training has helped me to build on my career."

“What Impact really brought to the table was the human element. They really listened to what we wanted, and every time we posed a problem or had a question, instead of getting frustrated, they were excited by it! That attitude is the attitude we want for our staff and our students.”
