Digital learning at the speed of change
Learning technologies can help organisations with the scale and reach of their solutions, but only if we understand how to use them effectively.
The arrival of new, sophisticated digital learning technologies is happening at a time when the pressure for organisations to learn, adapt and change has never been more urgent. It would be great if we could harness new technologies to transform the ability for employees to learn at the pace of change.
But we continue to default to the idea of using technology simply as a text reader or a video player, with individuals learning alone by staring at a screen. We need to be much more imaginative in how we use digital technology.
There are four important perspectives that need to drive the design and use of digital learning technologies. You can learn more here.
At Impact, we have created our own piece of learning technology, called air. We wanted to build a digital tool that would allow us to take experiential learning to scale and deliver blended and virtual learning seamlessly.
