Impact UK raise over £3,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust
We all know the business benefits of team activities…so what happened when Impact UK decided to go on an adventure to raise cash for our charity of the year? A cross-functional team took on the ultimate survival challenge, Bear Grylls Survival Race, a 10k, thirty-five obstacle race with four survival challenges. Our physical strength was tested as we pulled weights, climbed cargo nets and ran until our legs ached! Our mental strength was tested with memory, eating and shooting challenges, literally setting the course on fire!
As well as raising over £3,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust, we learned a lot about ourselves, our mental and physical limits and made connections with colleagues throughout Impact UK.
Seven people a day are diagnosed with Cancer in the UK, TCT’s expert care means they don’t have to face it alone. Here is the link if you’d like to donate online.
