The Power of Story Telling in Leadership:

Thursday 10 November at 12.45 - 13.15

Enhance your ability to communicate key messages, engage employees and lead change through the effective use of stories, metaphors and similes.

This workshop will allow you to explore the use of stories, metaphors and similes in the business context as a vital tool for communicating with colleagues to gain “buy in”, understanding and emotional engagement.

We will explore the capability of authentic leadership communication in the workplace and how it can be a powerful vehicle for leading change, motivating and galvanising people especially in challenging times.

We are looking to raise awareness, recognise personal strengths and opportunities so that you have more choice in your communication style as a leader.

The outcome of the development session will be to enhance managers’ ability to communicate key messages, engage and motivate employees using stories, metaphors and similes as a leadership intervention.
