Impact would like to congratulate Deutsche Bank who have been named a finalist in the 2011 Financial World Innovation Awards. Deutsche Bank’s Graduate Teamwork Challenge has been shortlisted for the Innovation in Corporate Social Responsibility category.
The Financial World Innovation Awards have been running for more than a decade, recognising examples of the creativity, imagination and vision within the financial services industry. The Innovation in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award is aimed at organisations who can demonstrate the benefit to their employees, their business and to their local and global communities through engagement in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Deutsche Bank’s Graduate Teamwork Challenge success
Deutsche Bank’s Graduate Teamwork Challenge sees up to 800 graduates simultaneously spending two-days working on a CSR project with a community partner. Key to the success of the challenge is ensuring that these Community Projects reflect Deutsche Bank’s CSR proposition and organisational values.
Michelle Pepper, Global Head of Graduate Training at Deutsche Bank praised the success of the programme:
“Since our first Teamwork Challenge in 2002, Deutsche Bank’s innovative induction programme has powerfully highlighted the importance of CSR and community, whilst also providing our graduates with the opportunity to develop crucial networks through an engaging and memorable start to their career.”
