Proudest moment at work?
Conducting a leadership program for female Parliamentarians in Iraq’s first Parliament.

How do you deal with stress?
Aikido – the Japanese martial art known as 'way of harmony'. I have a black belt and it is one of my passions.

Your heroes include...?
My amazing grandparents – New England farmers – hardworking and loving with a positive outlook on life!

Last journey you took?
A few weeks ago to the Middle East to work with the World Bank and the Iraq Government on their National Poverty Reduction Strategy, this is an ongoing commitment that I have worked on since 2006.

Favorite place?
Without a doubt, it’s the 1923 bungalow that I share with my husband Robert, right next door to the Aikido dojo where we train in Washington DC.
