Job Title
Head of Global Talent – a new role that I have been appointed to whose aim is to create a clear global strategy for recruiting, retaining and developing the best possible talent across the Global Business. I also work as a Senior Consultant on some exciting global projects that focus in particular on developing key talent in organisations in the financial sector.

Last book you read?
"Journey to the Edge of the World" by Billy Connolly

Favourite line from a film?
Not into films - never enough time in a normal day and when I am on long distance flights I have normally fallen asleep by the time they come on!

Your best day at Impact (so far...)?
The day I started to put together the Impact Intranet – a job that had probably scared off a few people but I thought might be a really fun thing to do – if only I had a bit of time....

Last journey you took?
A mad 12 hour race on foot and mountain bike across the Lake District - about two hours of running and about 100k off road on the bike and it rained all day – a fantastic day out with friends.

What’s on your desk?
A Moose - it helps remind me to keep a healthy perspective on things no matter how crazy life becomes.

Proudest moment at work?
Had a few of these over the years – most often when working with a delegate who has perhaps expressed scepticism at the start of the program but who through remaining open to the process have had some real and personal learning.

How do you deal with stress?
Despite doing a stressful sort of job, I do try not to get stressed – my recipe is to go for a run at lunch time on what has to be one of the most fantastic routes possible – I am not bored of going half way up Wansfell even after 18 years!

Favourite place?
Couldn’t possible reveal where this is, because one of the magic things about it, is that hardly anyone goes there! To give you a hint – you can only get there by walking or on a mountain bike, and if you find it you can not see a single house or even a road.
