Job title and responsibilities
Consultant, facilitator and trainer.

Currently focused on supporting heavily matrixed organizations to improve their ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaborate across organizational boundaries. I help provide the services clients need to purposefully develop and sustain their organizations.

I have also designed a powerful diagnostic tool, which helps organizations understand their current reality and assist in efforts to become vigilant and open to opportunities. I have worked with organizations in Africa, Europe and North America in private and public enterprise as well as government.

Your best day at Impact so far…
I have a deep sense of gratitude every time I get to practice my craft and make a difference in the lives of the people I work with and for. It is hard for me to have a bad day when I am making a difference in someone’s life.

What is on your desk…
I have built a work surface that connects to a large leather armchair which is my favorite place to sit and do office work. The surface is sloping to achieve an ergonomic effect so nothing much is on my ‘desk’ at all.

Successfully rebuilding my portfolio after the loss of a major client.

How do you deal with stress?
Adventure sports, building furniture in my woodshop, walking with Joyce my partner in life, listening to music.
