Impact Global: We celebrate our 6th year in the Times Top 100 Companies list
For the sixth year running, Impact is named one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For. Impact also scooped two special awards - named as 'Best for Giving Something Back' and 'Best for Wellbeing'.
The 2010 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For lists have been derived from entries of 964 companies. In total Best Companies surveyed over 230,000 employee opinions, and carried out an evaluation of each organisation’s key statistics, processes and policies. Impact is delighted to once again feature in the Top 20 Small Companies - placing at number 17. Winning two special awards in an increasingly competitive and challenging environment is a great achievement.
Impact win two special awards
Best for Giving Something Back
This award is based on feedback from the company’s own workforce on how much it is putting back into society in general and the local community in particular.
Best for Wellbeing
This award is based on feedback from our people on how they feel about stress, pressure and the balance between their work and home duties.
“We would like to congratulate Impact International on their outstanding achievement. An engaged workforce is essential as organisations move out of the recession and into a more stable economic situation. No doubt many organisations have tackled redundancies and rapid change this year. But organisations like Impact that have kept on engaging their staff and making sure they are involved in the business will be in a good position for the future and should be congratulated for their efforts”.
Jonathan Austin
Founder and CEO of Best Companies
"As one of only four companies to have been listed in the Times Top 100 for the past five years, I think we have proved that Impact is a very special organisation. Our people never cease to amaze me with their loyalty, creativity and determination to succeed. Even when the pressure is on, like it has been for the past 18 months, we are able to enjoy each others company and celebrate being a great place to work".
