Forging cross-sector leadership ventures
"In the twenty first century our global society will flourish or perish according to our ability to find common ground across the world on a set of shared objectives and on the practical means to achieve them."

Overview
The food crisis, climate change, HIV/AIDS, extreme poverty, trade which fuels conflict… the most pressing issues of our time require a new kind of leadership. They are generated by the interplay of a complex array of global processes. Responsibility for tackling such issues is often diffuse and unclear, and yet the need for humanity is strikingly apparent.Historically disconnected actors must come together in new ways: donor agencies, government bodies, international and local private sector, community representatives, and civil society. The globalised, systemic nature of 21st issues requires these actors align themselves behind common goals and develop structures through which change is achieved.
Our work in forging leadership ventures
Our work lies in helping generate new kinds of leadership action that tackles these issues and which ultimately drives change in the lives of people in crisis. In generating leadership action, Impact can work across the value chain to facilitate:• Innovating new concepts for engagement
• Assessing feasibility of new approaches
• Developing new strategies
• Advising policy approaches
• Introducing new stakeholders
• Committing people to action
